In Moremi National Park, Botswana, an African rock python takes only 45 minutes to eat up a whole impala. Due to the python's greatly adaptable jaw, it could gulp down the entire of the youthful impala in only 45 minutes. Fred Von Winckelmann, from the Netherlands was on a diversion drive and he could catch the astounding footage of the nourishing method.

Mr Von Winckelmann said, 'Seeing an African rock python gulping a youthful impala is a unique sighting.The snake was tranquilly gulping his supper without giving us any consideration, so I was permitted to go stomach down to get eye-level photographs of the reptile. We arrived when the snake was beginning to separate its jaws around the eland's waist and in 45 minutes it gulped the last hooves. That was the point at which we let the python digest it in peace in light of the fact that they are so helpless while doing as such.'

To extend to uncommon lengths, pythons have advanced jaws fixed with tendons, muscles and ligaments. This has helped the pythons to swallow such expansive prey. In the footage transferred on YouTube it can be seen that the enormous reptile is experiencing considerable difficulties swallow the impala at first yet as it goes on it opens it's jaws significantly bigger making it more less demanding to swallow it's prey. Toward the end the python can be seen not notwithstanding having the capacity to move legitimately.
