Ski Team contended in their first USSA races of the season on January 2-3. The Emily Clothier Memorial Dual, a couple of parallel slalom races, was facilitated by the Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation and held at Heavenly Ski Resort, South Lake Tahoe. The Mammoth racers headed into the occasion having recently contended in another double race, the 2015 Kittredge Cup held Dec. 27 at their home zone.

MMST's Harry Blackburn, a U14 mentor who went with the group, reported, "Young ladies ran first. It was quick and enraged as it was consecutive runs, then a reset for the kid's race. It was a sprint 20 entryways through and through, the quick time on the first day 19 seconds and the times were close."

On the young lady's side MMST's Vivienne McGlashan, who set second in the KC, put the experience to great use as she wound up being the top Mammoth racers. She battled her approach to tenth spot out of the 105 female contenders. Not a long ways behind McGlashen was her partner, Sasha Mueller, who came in thirteenth. Neave Anderson, the Kittredge Cup's U14 Girls champ, was seventeenth in her first USSA race as a U14.

The next day, McGlashan kept on demonstrating her quality and took the main 15 for the MMST young ladies, putting fourteenth. Davenport dropped down to seventeenth, however Daniel Schneider demonstrated whatever is left of the field that he will be one to keep an eye out for.On Saturday, Schneider began 78th and completed 26th. Sunday he placed14th generally speaking, barely defeating his nearest rival by a simple .04 seconds and Davenport by .14 seconds.
