'Kalo Pothi' is the first Nepali highlight film to be chosen in Venice Film Festival. The motion picture is coordinated by Min Bahadur Bham, whose short film Bansulli (The Flute) was the first Nepali film to be chosen in the celebration.
"Our film has been recompensed, this has made every one of us glad," said Tsering Rhitar Sherpa, film maker, identifying with ekantipur.The film is set in the year 2001 when the common war was continuous. The plot spins around two youthful companions, Prakash and Kiran, in a little town in Mugu and their adventure after their hen disappears.
Makers from Nepal, France, Switzerland and Germany have put resources into the film whose financial plan is around 30 million rupees.
