Nepal Oil Corp (NOC) and Petro China marked the settlement in Beijing taking after an informal exchange and fuel ban from India against Nepal for as long as one month, authorities here said.

The Wednesday MoU makes ready for Nepal to import fuel from China, Nepal's minister to China Mahesh Maskey told the Nepali media after the assention was agreed upon.

A Nepali group arranged with Chinese authorities on Tuesday and Wednesday. Jhang Tong of Petro China and Gopal Bahadur Khadka of Nepal Oil Corp marked the arrangement.

Nepal purchases over $1.3 billion of fuel from Indian Oil Corp every year. Nepalese and Indian authorities had just two months back marked a petroleum pipeline bargain.

Nepal has not imported any fuel from China previously. It has been purchasing fuel just from IOC. Other than business import of fuel from China, Beijing has additionally vowed to furnish Nepal with 1.3 million liters of gas to adapt to expanding fuel emergency in Nepal.

This fuel will be given as an award by China. The continuous fuel deficiency has constrained the conclusion of a huge number of schools and taken off thousands open and private vehicles off the streets, hitting Nepal's economy hard.
