Rekha Thapa is a Nepali on-screen character, model and movie producer. She was a main ten finalist for Miss Nepal in 1999.Two years after the fact she made her film debut in Chhabiraj Ojha's Hero. She has worked in around 200 Nepali motion pictures and has picked up ubiquity in the Nepali cine world in light of her fabulous part. She claims the motion picture generation house Rekha Entertainment. In 2010 and 2011 she won the CG Digital Film Awards for Best Actress, and in 2011 she likewise won the NEFTA Film Awards for Best Actress.


Rekha Thapa was conceived in Salakpur in Morang area of Eastern Nepal. In the wake of moving on from school, she moved to Kathmandu for her higher studies. As she had powerful urge to be a performer, she kept on taking an interest in different demonstrating looks and exciting projects. Later she tuned in the Miss Nepal Pageant in 1999, and wound up in second place.

Thapa acted as a model, and was accordingly drawn closer by the maker Chhabiraj Ojha with a proposition to work in the film "Saint" with Rajesh Hamal. Amid the shooting of Hero, Chhabiraj Ojha proposed to her, and the two were hitched in conventional style.[citation needed] After ten years, the couple isolated.

Thapa and her spouse delivered more than 8 motion pictures under the name Rekha Films.Rekha Thapa is otherwise called Dekha Thapa because of her receptive outlook strategy Rekha Thapa has worked for more than a hundred motion pictures subsequent to the mid 2000s
