Indian police have captured six individuals from an ISIS-propelled bunch associated with plotting assaults on key figures and open spots amid the Hindu celebration of Diwali, the national counter-psychological warfare office said Monday.

ISIS has attempted to win over numerous volunteers in India, which is home to the world's third-biggest Muslim populace.

Reuters was not in a position to freely affirm the police claims.

Not long ago, agents said 12 men, six ladies and three youngsters disappeared from Kerala and were later accepted to have joined ISIS.
