थाइल्याण्डमा जारी एशीया कप महिला क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिताको दोस्रो खेलमा नेपालले आज श्रीलङका संग प्रस्तिपर्धा गर्दैछ ।

नेपाल र श्रीलङका बीचको खेल नेपाली समय अनुसार बैङकक स्थित एशीयन इन्स्टिच्युट अफ टेक्नोलोजी मैदानमा दिउसो पौने एक बजे देखी सुरु हुनेछ । पहिलो खेल हारेका कारण दुवैका लागि यो खेल महत्वपुर्ण रहेको छ । नेपालले पहिलो खेलमा पाकिस्तान संग नौ विकेटको हार बेहोरेको थियो । यस्तै श्रीलङका पनि पाकिस्तान संगै आठ विकेटले पराजित भएको थियो । पाकिस्तान विरुद्ध दश खेलाडीले दोहोरो अंक छुन नसक्दा नेपाल जम्मा ४७ रनमा समेटिएको थियो । टेस्ट मान्यता प्राप्त पाकिस्तान संग नेपालका लागि रुविना क्षेत्रीले बनाएको ११ रननै उच्च हो ।

श्रीलङका पनि नेपाल भन्दा धेरै माथिल्लो स्तरको टिम हो । टेस्ट खेल्ने राष्ट्र श्रीलङकालाइ हराउनु नेपालका लागि कठिन छ । तर ब्याटिङमा सुधार गर्ने हो भने असंभव नभएको प्रशिक्षक राजु बस्न्यातको भनाइ छ । श्रीलङका पाकिस्तान संग हारेकाले आफ्नो टिमको मनोवल उच्च भएको बस्न्यातले बताए । प्रशिक्षक बस्न्यातले भोलीपनि दोस्रो खेल भएकाले मौसममा प्लेइङ इलाभेन भर पर्ने जानकारी दिए । नेपाल र श्रीलङका दोस्रो पटक आमने सामने हुन लागेका हुन् । यसअघि सन २०१२ मा चीनमा भएको एशीया कपममा नेपाल श्रीलङका संग २० रनले पराजित भएको थियो ।

Nepal ladies' squad: Rubina Chhetry (c), Jyoti Pandey, Karuna Bhandari, Neera Rajopadhyay, Roshani Bohara, Sangita Rai, Sarita Magar, Sobha Aale, Indu Barma, Kajal Shrestha, Nairry Thapa, Rashmi Sharma Chaulagain, Sabnam Rai, Saraswati Kumari Chaudhary and Sita Rana Magar.
