Panche Baja (truly – five musical instruments) is a gathering of five conventional musical instruments played in Nepal amid certain favorable events like relational unions. A little band of five individuals (generally, called Damahi) can shape the musical band to perform in such events. The five instruments are: Dholaki (Two sided drum, like Madal) Tyamko (little pot drum) Damaha or Nagara (pot drum) Sahanai (a short pipe instrument) and Jhurma or jhyali (cymbals)
