A Nepali man reportedly fell to death from an under-construction building in Putrajaya of Malaysia.The 31-year-old man, identified as Bhim Bahadur Kakutal, was killed after falling from a high-rise building onto a makeshift gondola in Precinct 7 in Putrajaya on Friday, according Malaysia’s national news agency Bernama. He died on the spot.The permanent residence of the victim is yet to be known.The report said a Bangladeshi co-worker, who was in the structure at the time, was seriously injured. Katuwal is believed to have fallen from the building at the new site of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Bernama reportedIt is said that he fell either from the roof top (23rd floor) or the 17th floor because only these floors had open space. “Investigations found that at the time, the Bangladeshi worker was installing a sunshade in the gondola when suddenly the Nepalese worker came crashing down onto it, injuring Mohammad Abul [Bangladeshi man] at the same time,” the report quoted the chief of local police as saying.Casualties of Nepali workers are frequently reported from Malaysia where hundreds of thousands of Nepalis work.
